Who we are

Stage to Saddle provides equestrian education, coaching, consulting, career mentoring and horse services worldwide.

Not affiliated with the BHS

Stage to Saddle is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by The British Horse Society. Our courses prepare candidates for BHS assessments. Booking with us does not guarantee a pass. BHS assessments are booked and paid for separately with The British Horse Society, and practical skills are signed off by the BHS in person.

Bookings and payment

All prices are in US dollars. A booking is confirmed once payment (or the agreed deposit) is received. Travel costs for in-person work are charged on top.

Lectures and schedules

Candidates who buy a complete Stage choose a lecture schedule and may change it once. One lecture may be moved with 24 hours' notice. Lectures are recorded for the candidate's own use.

Safety

Riders take part at their own risk and must wear correct safety equipment, including a hat to a current safety standard. Riders at clinics sign a waiver. Horse owners keep their horses insured.

Our materials

All Stage to Saddle courses, videos, notes and question banks are for personal use only and may not be copied, shared or resold.

Horse services

Horse searches and sales are covered by a separate written agency agreement. Problem-horse and schooling programmes cover training only; transport and livery are paid by the owner.

Faculty

Associate trainers and content creators work under a separate Faculty agreement as independent contractors.
